Whitten Oval Redevelopment

Project Description

Archiclad are thrilled to have been involved in this exciting project – the redevelopment of the iconic Whitten Oval, the training facility for the Western Bulldogs. As a Design and Construct job, we worked closely with the builder and the contractor right from the early stages so we were able to deliver exceptional products that ensure both functionality and visual appeal.

One of our key contributions was providing samples and data sheets for all the products used in the project, as well as alternative products. This attention to detail was crucial in ensuring that the chosen materials not only met the project requirements but exceeded expectations.

Mornington Peninsula Shire Office

Project Description

The goal for this project was to reduce noise and eliminate echoes in this modern meeting room at the Mornington Peninsula Shire Office. Working closely with the contractor, we implemented the best practices for cutting around services and hanging rods, strategically placing them for optimal sound dampening for the ultimate acoustic solution.

  • Powder coated Autex Acoustics edging in White

Elwood College

Project Description

The stadium redevelopment at Elwood College seamlessly combines functionality and aesthetics. The goal was to improve acoustics and impact resistance within their sports stadium. As specialists in providing innovative building solutions, we were excited to take on the challenge and supply the perfect solution! We take immense pride in the success of this project and are thrilled to have been a part of Elwood College’s journey towards creating a conducive and visually stunning sporting environment for their school community to enjoy for many years to come.

Heritage College

Project Description

Archiclad were proud to be part of the new construction and extension of classrooms at Heritage College in Officer. Our ceiling solution provided a sleek and modern touch, enhancing the aesthetics of the classrooms and creating a fantastic learning environment for future generations.

Highlands Community Hall

Project Description

This beautiful community hall was originally built in 1902. But after over 100 years of heavy use and solid timber surrounds, the space had major noise control issues and had become very echoey, so the client reached out for a solution to these acoustic challenges.

Materials Used

For this project, Archiclad were tasked with acoustics and proudly supplied the following:

  • Autex Cube 12mm Acoustic Panels
  • This brilliant, locally made product not only looks good, but works hard to reduce reverberation and control background chatter, delivering excellent acoustic performance.

Royal Melbourne Hospital

Project Description

Archiclad were proud to be involved in the development of several brand-new offices and consulting rooms at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Parkville. What an absolute privilege to be part of a project that helps doctors and nurses better support those who really need it.

Lollypop Creek Primary School

Project Description

Lollypop Creek Primary School is a brand new, state of the art government primary school located in the heart of Werribee, VIC. Opened in 2023 and funded by the Victorian School Building Authority, Lollypop Creek Primary School showcases modern amenities and provides fantastic education for the growing local community.

For this project, Archiclad were tasked with acoustics, combustibility & aesthetics and proudly supplied the following:

850 Collins Street, Docklands

This Docklands office fit-out is an absolute showstopper! After completely gutting an old, dated office space, this two-level office was renovated with a fresh, modern, and inviting design. Rebuilt with separate meeting areas and large neutral spaces that provide the perfect relaxed, yet professional setting, for inspired work.

Aesthetically, soft greys, bright whites, warm timber features and black accents have been perfectly balanced to create a space that is as cool and inviting as it is functional and inspiring!
